PARENTS BILL OF RIGHTS
The purpose of the Parents’ Bill of Rights is to inform parents, which include legal guardians or persons in parental relation to a student, but generally parents of a student who is under the age of eighteen, of the legal requirements regarding privacy, security, and use of student data.
On the right side of this page, please see a list of Harborfields Central School District’s Board of Education policies and regulations that provide details of the Rights of Parents and Legal Guardians as outlined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
