SEPTA
The Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA) of Harborfields is a district wide PTA unit with an Executive Board of Officers who volunteer their time and services. The purpose and goal of SEPTA is to ensure a fair and appropriate public education for all children. SEPTA specifically recognizes the special needs of children in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade who receive services under the umbrella of "Special Education", Section 504, and Gifted and Talented. Harborfields SEPTA sponsors numerous programs and awards including: Summer Academy, Teacher Fellowships, Senior Scholarships, Eighth-Grade Awards, speakers and parent workshops.
