HOME OF THE TORNADOES
As a member of the Suffolk County High School Athletic Association and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, the district offers a varied and successful interscholastic sports program. On the middle school level, there are 18 different sports opportunities with two teams in multiple sports. On the high school level, there are 25 different sports offerings, most of which have varsity and junior varsity levels. The district traditionally has a significant number of student athletes honored with post-season awards and many of our teams are acknowledged as "New York State Scholar-Athlete Teams." The district boasts a high sportsmanship rating in the county. A varied intramural program exists for students in grades 3-12.
