Happy First Day of School!
The sun was shining and the students were smiling as they entered their buildings today, the first day of the 2024-2025 school year!
Washington Drive Primary School, Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School, Oldfield Middle School, and Harborfields High School were buzzing with energy and excitement.
“It was great to welcome our students back to school,” said Dr. Manning, who was at the buildings bright and early this morning. “I’m thrilled the halls and classrooms are once again filled with positive energy the students bring. We are all looking forward to a great year ahead.”
This year, there is a lot to look forward to. The District is in its third year of implementation of the Strategic Plan and will continue to work toward its goals of social emotional wellness, real world learning experiences, and cultivating a connected community of learners.
We can’t wait to see all our community members at the many events and activities we have planned for this year!
