An idea is like a seed that gets planted in your mind and starts to grow. The idea to beautify the front of Washington Drive started small, but quickly bloomed into a community-wide project.

On Tuesday, September 17, students, staff, and community members gathered at the Washington Drive Beautification Ceremony to acknowledge the extensive work that went into enhancing the front of the building. Now that the work is complete, everyone can enjoy the beautiful native plants and painted rocks for years to come.
WDPS Principal, Mrs. McNally, thanked all those who participated in the beautiful project and excitedly shared that there will be additional work in Phase II of the project.

In the words of Audrey Hepburn, "To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow." This garden will continue to grow bigger and brighter just as our students and community will!
