The Harborfields High School Multicultural Club, advised by Dr. Matthews, Ms. Ritter, & Ms. Cervini, and National Art Honor Society, advised by Ms. Ritter, carefully curated an art gallery display celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. This event is proudly sponsored in cooperation with the Huntington Art Council Arts in Education Journey Program.
Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15th to October 15th, is an annual celebration of the rich and diverse contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities to our nation's history, culture, and society. This art gallery display aims to honor and showcase the vibrant tapestry of Hispanic heritage through an array of cultural artifacts, including household goods, artworks, cultural texts and books, music, clothing, and traditional items.
The Harborfields High School Multicultural Club is committed to promoting cultural diversity and fostering a sense of inclusivity within our school community. This event aligns with their mission to create an environment where all cultures are celebrated and appreciated.
We encourage all students, parents, teachers, and community members to stop by the main lobby art gallery during Hispanic Heritage Month to see this special display!
