Opportunities for Service Hours

HANDS ON HUNTINGTON OF THE SUFFOLK Y JCC has 2 volunteer opportunities for interested Harborfields students.  On Sunday, November 15th at 12 PM, they are organizing a group to go to Paumonack Village in Greenlawn to help rake their leaves.  The program is expected to run from 12 -2 PM.

Also, they are looking for students on Sunday, May 15th from 12-4 PM to help out at Paumonack village.  Students would help to plant flower beds and weed Seniors’ gardens.

Saturday, November 14, 2015
10 AM to 5 PM

You do not need to sign-up in advance.  Arrive at any time from 9 AM to 4 PM. Come and work as long as you can and leave when you need to.  You will receive a signed and dated letter on Church stationery that lists your total volunteer hours as well as the charities that you helped.  Please join us and bring lots of your friends.  It’s fun!

Net Proceeds from the Fair will be donated to local, National and international missions and Charities.  You will earn student volunteer hours, while helping people in need!
