The fifth and sixth grade orchestras from Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School in the Harborfields Central School District both earned a Superior rating on May 23 at the Long Island Music Festival, scoring 95 and 96, respectively. After the festival, the student-musicians had fun at Adventureland.
“We’re thankful to our incredible music educators for bringing this amazing opportunity to our students,” Principal Jennifer Washington said.
