Students at Washington Drive Primary School recently participated in Innovation Hour, an event that celebrates creativity in problem solving, engineering and collaboration as students work in teams to design and build a solution to address a need while meeting specific parameters. Each grade level was tasked with a different project to build: kindergartners made musical instruments, first graders created waterproof shelters for bunnies and second graders constructed bird feeders that contain bird seed while also protecting it from rain and spillage.
