Harborfields High School’s Harborfields Theater Company took home three trophies at the 14th annual Hunting-Tony Awards ceremony, held June 3 on the stage of Huntington’s Paramount. Ainsley Batsford won Best Actress in a Play for her work in HTCO’s “Clue,” which also won Best Play, while the school’s musical “Mary Poppins” won for Best Costumes. During the event, Batsford, Emma DiPrima and Amelia Freiberger presented a wonderful performance of “Practically Perfect” from “Mary Poppins.”

The Hunting-Tonys serve to celebrate the fall plays and spring musicals from the Town of Huntington’s nine public high schools.

"The Best Play award beat out the productions of the other high schools in the Township,” HTCO adviser Edward Storey said. “Students and staff alike share the pride that comes along with this award. An excellent culmination of the school theater season!”
