VOTER INFORMATION
A qualified voter is:
- At least 18 years of age
- A citizen of the United States
- A resident of the school district for at least 30 days preceding the day of the vote, and not otherwise prohibited or disqualified to vote under New York Election Law §5-106.
The school district requires one form of proof of residency pursuant to Education Law §2018-c
Registered voters may vote in-person or by absentee ballot.
ABSENTEE & EARLY MAIL BALLOTS
Qualified voters of the Harborfields Central School District may request an Absentee or Early Mail Ballot in advance of the budget vote and election if they are unable to vote in person.
Absentee and/or Early Mail ballot applications must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days before the vote if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or one (1) day before the vote if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter.

MILITARY BALLOT
Please note that members of the military should use a specific application for an absentee ballot.
- Military ballot applications must be received in the Office of the District Clerk by no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 23, 2026.
