2025 – 2026 BUDGET PRESENTATIONS

 

VOTER INFORMATION

A qualified voter is:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A citizen of the United States
  • A resident of the school district for at least 30 days preceding the day of the vote, and not otherwise prohibited or disqualified to vote under New York Election Law §5-106. The school district requires one form of proof of residency pursuant to Education Law §2018-c

Registered voters may vote in-person or by absentee ballot. 

 

ABSENTEE BALLOT

Qualified voters of the Harborfields Central School District may request an Absentee Ballot in advance of the budget vote and election if they are unable to vote in person for any of the following reasons:

  • Absence from the county / city of residence on the day of the vote due to business / studies / vacation.
  • A patient in a hospital or unable to appear in person due to temporary illness or permanent illness / disability.
  • Detention in jail/prison, awaiting trial, awaiting action by a grand jury, or in prison for a conviction of a crime or offense which was not a felony.

MILITARY BALLOT

Please note that members of the military should use a specific application for an absentee ballot.

  • Are you interested in serving on the Harborfields Board of Education?  Candidate packets will be available for pick up in the District Clerk’s office on Monday, March 3, 2025.  

    Two positions on the Harborfields Board of Education, each for three-year terms commencing July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028, are up for election this year at the district’s annual budget vote and election to be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Oldfield Middle School.

    ¿Está interesado en formar parte de la Junta de Educación de Harborfields? Los paquetes de los candidatos estarán disponibles para recoger en la oficina de la secretaria de Distrito el lunes 3 de marzo de 2025.

    Dos puestos en la Junta de Educación de Harborfields, cada uno por períodos de tres años a partir del 1 de julio de 2025 hasta el 30 de junio de 2028, están disponibles para elección este año en la votación del presupuesto anual del distrito y la elección que se
    llevará a cabo el martes 20 de mayo de 2025 en Oldfield Escuela intermedia.
