Harborfields musicians had an unforgettable experience at SCMEA’s 45th Annual Day of Tuba on Friday, November 7!

Music teacher Mrs. Kassinger accompanied students Julia Hessel from Oldfield Middle School, and  Abe Oonnoonny and Ezra Behr from Harborfields High School, as they spent the day learning and performing alongside talented musicians from across Long Island.

Students enjoyed performances by the LI Tuba Quartet, the SCMEA All-County Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, the Sunnyland Jazz Band, a faculty tuba ensemble, and the featured guest artist Hiram Diaz of “The President’s Own” Marine Band.

The day ended with a powerful ensemble performance that Harborfields students were proud to be a part of.
