Harborfields Students Win Big at Battle of the Books!
A team of 16 Harborfields students, "The Gnome It-Alls," took home first place in the Harborfields Public Library's Advanced Division Battle of the Book competition!
These dedicated students spent months mastering the details of two books, The Hunger Games and A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, and their hard work paid off! The competition took place at Sachem Library and included 12 teams from participating Suffolk County libraries.
Linda Meglio, Assistant Director of Harborfields Public Library said, “The team’s coaches Mary Kim and Kim McCarthy along with the staff of Harborfields Public Library are epsecially proud of their accomplishment!”
