Harborfields Central School District

The Harborfields Central School District celebrated 39 amazing athletes and their teams at the Winter Sports Recognition Night on Monday, March 10. This group of student athletes and their coaches have dedicated an incredible amount of time and energy to their sports and it shows! They have achieved numerous athletic accomplishments throughout the winter season making it one of the most successful in Harborfields history.

“The athletes on the stage would not be here without their teammates sitting in the audience, said Mr. Franco, Director of Health, Phyiscal Education, and Athletics. “When each person knows their role and responsibility, no matter how big or small, everyone on the team succeeds.” 

All winter teams also achieved Scholar-Athlete status. To receive Scholar-Athlete team recognition, the average GPA of the top 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00. Proving they excelled inside the classroom as well!
